Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take to receive my order?
Every garter is cut and handmade to order. Orders take 7-14 days from order date to delivery. However, this is not guaranteed. Orders are made by "date needed" meaning we try and get orders done that are needed for an earlier date done first. We do try to ship all orders within 7 days of order date but may take up to 12. See Shipping Page for more details.

Do You Sell A Toss Garter or Garter Sets?
Each garter we sell has the option to add a matching toss band. Details and examples are available in each individual order form.  We do not sell toss bands alone. They must be purchased with a main garter.  

What forms of payment to you accept?
We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) and PayPal. HOWEVER, we are not able to accept Visa/Mastercard Giftcards or American Express Giftcards. Cards must have a name, billing address and security code that all match in order for payment to be processed.  Some giftcards me be registered for use on-line.  Please see your card's terms for details.

Is my credit card and personal information secure?
Yes. We have security measures in place with our hosting company. We use 128 bit SSL high security so that your sensitive information is protected. You can view the security certificate on the payment page. Click on the DigiCert logo which provides further information.
 
I get an error when I submit payment, why?
Most errors occur when the Security Code is not entered properly. Please double check that you are entering the correct numbers (last 3 digits of the signature panel for Visa/MC and the 4 digits on the front of the card for AmEx).

The second most common problem is that the billing address does not match the billing address associated with the credit card. Please be sure that the billing address is the same as what is used for the credit card bill. A different "Ship To" address can be entered at checkout if needed.  See next question for a related issue.
 
I see multiple charges to my credit card account, why?
If you happen to get a credit card processing error during checkout, you MAY see multiple charges to your account.  This happens because "Temporary Authorizations" can be placed on SOME accounts.  These are just "Temporary" and WILL NOT be authorized and will disappear from your account within 24-48 hours.  It is how some credit card companies handle the transactions so that you can see ALL activity on your account.  If you have any concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to call 866-686-7081 or email us at customerservice@mygarter.com.

There's a specific charm I would like but don't see it available, can it be ordered?
If you are looking for a specific charm that we do not carry, email us the details and we'll see if it's something we can special order. Email us here.
 
Can I put two charms on one garter?
Yes, if you order a second charm for your garter, we'll attach it on a chain so that it hangs lower than the first.  Charms hang from the center of the bow.  The on-line order form only allows you to choose ONE charm per garter. To order a second, click here to access the "Charms Department" where the charms are click-able and order-able. 
 
Can I order charms alone?
Although we carry over 100 charms, we do not stock large quantities of each.  However, if you'd like to order just charms, click here to access the "Charms Department" where the charms are clickable and orderable.  If we don't have the quantity in stock that you're looking for, email us and we can special order more in.
 
Do You Offer Discounts for Large Orders?
We do have a "Bridal Party Special" that applies discounts to larger orders. This offer can apply to school orders, cheerleading teams, group orders, etc). If you have a large order (over 10) of the same garter (same color, print, charms, etc) please feel free to contact us so we can possibly work out alternative discounts at customerservice@mygarter.com.
